Thanks to everyone who attended the event yesterday. I hope that you found it as interesting and enjoyable as I did.

In particular I’d like to thank the speakers. The talks were very insightful and I think we managed to cover a wide range of topics related to the Mobile Internet yesterday. I learned a lot so thank you!

Finally, I want to say thanks to all the guys who helped out yesterday – Maurice, Martin, Oisin, Pete and James who did all the running around behind the scenes, Barry who did a great job in chairing the 2nd session (in particular for getting us back on track time wise – what a pro!) and to Jill - you did a great job in helping to organize the event and it looks like it was successful ;-)

Any takers on organizing the next WebCamp event ? ;-)

Hi from Pittsburgh !
unfortunately my visit to the University of Pittsburgh prohibits me from attending the event today but I would like to extend my thanks and appreciation to all of the speakers who enthusiastically agreed to present their ideas at today's Webcamp.

I have no doubt that the day will be stimulating and encouraging to all who attend and I hope that some other group are inspired to hold the 3rd Webcamp in the same way Karen and I were inspired after attending the DERI Webcamp on Social Networks.

Lastly I want to thank Karen - you've done a great job - sorry for abandoning you ;-)

The first of the academic talks is presented by WebCamp organiser Karen Church. Karen is a member of the Adaptive Information Cluster here in UCD and her talk entitled "A Large-Scale Study of European Mobile Information Access" will provide us with some insight into recent mobile internet trends.
